LA-Macon Co Friday Matchup Will Be Girls Only

Due to Covid-19, the District 8-AA matchup between Macon County and Livingston Academy in Lafeyette on Friday will now be a girls only meeting, per Hog-Eye Sports on Twitter.

The Lady Cats are coming off of a 55-32 loss to Upperman on Tuesday, but they had won four in a row before that game.

Meanwhile, Macon County brings an undefeated 9-0 record into this contest, including a 3-0 mark in district play.

The last time these teams met was on Feb. 4, 2020 in a game the Tigerettes won 65-46. Macon also won the other matchup last season with the Lady Cats by a 62-42 county.
