The Livingston Academy Wildcats made it known on Friday that both girls and boys teams would have to go into quarantine, meaning neither team can play a game until Jan. 19 at the earliest.

Two games that were postponed earlier in the season have been officially rescheduled to coincide with that date. The Wildcats will travel to Smith County to take on the Owls on Jan. 23, and they will be in Lafeyette to play Macon County on Jan. 28.

LA was originally scheduled to face Watertown on the road on Tuesday night, but due to the quarantine, that game is also postponed. Other games that will have to be postponed include games with York Institute (Jan. 15) at home, and at Westmoreland (Jan. 16).

The Lady Cats currently sit at 9-4 overall with an 0-1 district mark, while the Wildcats are 5-7 and also 0-1 in district play.

UPDATE: Livingston Academy has now announced new dates for two more games.

The Wildcats will travel to Watertown on Jan. 25 to makeup tonight’s game, and the DeKalb County game that was cancelled earlier in the season is now set for Feb. 6 in Livingston.

Additionally, the games on Friday and Saturday of this week against York and Westmoreland, respectively, have also been postponed.

The matchup with the Dragonettes will now take place on Feb. 1
