Jacob Amonett and Pickett County Start Season Unbeaten

The 2022 high school basketball season is now underway. As we get deeper into the action, we are checking in with players from across the Upper Cumberland.

In this editon, we talk with Jacob Amonett – a sophomore at Pickett County High School. The Bobcats tipped off their season on November 15th and unbeaten through their first five games.

As a sophomore, Amonett talks about how his own game has improved. Jacob also tells us what his offseason was like, what he is looking forward to this year, and more.
