The Monterey Lady Wildcats beat Gordonsville 54 to 31, Tuesday night in Monterey.
The Lady Wildcats locked down Gordonsville in the first half as they gave up only 12 points over the first two quarters. Offensively, Monterey scored 26 first half points and 28 points in the second half.
Anna Hudson and Lindsey Wright tied for a game high 15 points of Monterey. Hudson also scored her 1,000th point as a Lady Wildcat.
Faith Walker added 11 points for Monterey. Monterey hit 14 of their 18 free throws on the night and they hit four shots from behind the three point line.
The win improves the Lady Wildcats record to 6-20, and 1-11 in district play. Montery will travel to Trousdale County Friday night.
