Hot Start Leads Warriors Over Macon Co.

The White County Warriors opened up play in the Sonic Shootout on Thursday with a dominant 91-55 win over Macon County.

White County got off to a fast start in the first half, when they opened up a 26-point lead heading into halftime.

While Macon hung tough in the third and was only out-scored 19-18, they couldn’t muster up enough offense and White County won by a final score of 91-55.

Grant Slatten added to his impressive start to the season with a game-high 29 points on 10-18 shooting. Kade Clark and Kegan Dodson each added 10 points in the win.

White County will advance in the bracket to take on Clarkrange on Friday at 8:30.
