Hot-Shooting First Quarter Leads Warriorettes Over Siegel

The White County Warriorettes defeated the Siegel Lady Stars on Monday by a final score of 73-45.

The offense got off to a fast start, as the Warriorettes led 27-10 at the end of the first quarter. Siegel found more success in the second quarter, but White County still held a 40-21 lead at half.

The third quarter saw White County’s defense take over, as they held Siegel to just six points. This allowed the Warriorettes to coast to a 73-45 victory.

Gracie Dodgen led all scorers with a game-high 22 points. Morgan Quick and Alaina Stiles added 10 points each.

The Warriorettes will be back in action on Tuesday, when they take on Thursday when they host Rhea County.
