Game Slips Away From Lady Blue Devils In Second Half

Jackson County’s girls basketball team saw a first half lead slip away Tuesday night to Gordonsville by a final score of 49 to 41.

The Lady Blue Devils owned a 19 to 15 lead at halftime. Gordonsville outscored Jackson County 34 to 22 in the second half to pull away by the final margin of eight points.

Jackson County’s Ericka Davidson led the team in scoring with 17 points. Abigail Poston added nine points of her own.

The loss drops the Lady Blue Devils to 2-16 and 1-7 in district play. Jackson County travels to Clarkrange Friday night at 6 P.M.
