Wildcats Dominate At Red Boiling Springs

Monterey (3-0) continued their hot start to the season Friday night trouncing Red Boiling Springs 47-6. The Wildcats picked up their first region win in the process.

Monterey rushed for 379 yards on 37 attempts and four touchdowns. Quarterback Jordan Key rushed eight times for 148 yards and a touchdown. Michael Allred, Eli Saylors, and Anthony Soberians all scored rushing touchdowns.

Key completed 4-7 passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Key also had a kick return for a touchdown. Chandler Bowden and Kevin Borjas each hauled in touchdown receptions.

Monterey starts a month long home stand this coming Friday night against Harriman (0-3).
