Defense Leads Livingston Over Westmoreland

The Livingston Academy Wildcats opened their season with a dominant 35-2 win over Westmoreland High School.

Quarterback Will McDonald threw for 289 yards and a touchdown in the winning effort. The lone touchdown came in the third quarter when McDonald found Aubrey Hollars for the score. This contributed to a 21-point quarter that saw Livingston extend their lead to 28-2 over Westmoreland.

LA added 143 yards on the ground in the win, and were led by Nate Neeley’s 103 yards and two scores in the rushing department.

Westmoreland managed 194 total yards of offense in their effort.
