Bobcats Fall To Gordonsville

The Pickett County Bobcats (1-2) lost their week three matchup with the Gordonsville Tigers (1-2) by a final score of 42-18 on Friday night.

Parker Gore led the way on offense for the Bobcats, as he put together 216 yards of total offense and two touchdowns. He was a weapon through the air (141 receiving yards) and on the ground (75 rushing yards) for quarterback Luke Smith, who finished with 299 passing yards.

Gore was also a force on defense, as he had five tackles and a fumble recovery. Hunter Kennedy also had a fumble recovery of his own.

Mark Smith added 99 receiving yards and a touchdown for Pickett Co., while Hunter Vick contributed  32 receiving yards on offense and four tackles on defense.

Pickett County will travel to Albany, Kentucky next week, as they will take on the Clinton County Bulldogs at 7 P.M.
