Five UC Boys Teams Vie for Region Championships

After the girls settled their high school basketball Region Championships on Wednesday night, it’s the boys’ turn on Thursday. Five teams from the Upper Cumberland will look to bring home some hardware, while also earning a home game for Monday’s Sectional round.

Here are the area boys’ Region Tournament Championship games (all games will begin at 7 p.m.):

Class 1A – Region 3 (at Sequatchie Co.)
(19-11) Van Buren Co. vs. (10-3) Chattanooga Prep

Class 1A – Region 4 (at East Robertson)
(21-6) Clay Co. vs. (23-5) East Robertson

Class 2A – Region 3 (at Watertown)
(23-6) Jackson Co vs. (24-7) York Institute

Class 3A – Region 4 (at Tullahoma)
