Five Pioneers Earn All-District Recognition

Warren County’s boys basketball team finished the regular season 18-11 and 5-3 in district play, which was good enough for second place, behind White County.

Five, Warren County basketball players were honored with all district honors for their play this season. CJ Taylor and Irving Espinoza each earned a spot on the all district team.

Kaden Rutledge was named freshman of the year in District Six, Triple A. D’Lano Spates and Aiden Cummings were also selected as honorable mention.

Warren County will take on White County Tuesday night at 7:30, in Sparta, for the post season district championship. Warren County has gone 1-2 against the Warriors so far this season.
