FINALLY, SPORTS ARE BACK

For the first time since March, 14th high school athletes, in the Upper Cumberland, will compete athletically against each other, in an officially sanctioned Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association event.

Cookeville High School’s boys and girls golf team will host the boys and girls golf teams from White and Warren County Monday morning at the Golden Eagle Country Club with tee time at 10:00 A.M.

Tuesday, at Fall Creek Falls ,Van Buren County plays host to Smith County, in their first match of the season. To finish off the week the Cavaliers will host Livingston Academy and Cumberland County at the Golden Eagle Country club as well.

Today also marks the official first day of practice for volleyball and cross country. Football and girls soccer are able to continue weight lifting and conditioning but are still prohibited from any form of physical contact within practice.
