Eighth Ranked Lady Panthers Win Against Warren Co

The Stone Memorial Lady Panthers beat the Warren County Pioneers 66 to 43 Friday night in Crossville.

The Lady Panthers jumped out to an 18 to 11 first quarter lead. Stone Memorial tacked on 15 more points in the second quarter to take a 33 to 18 advantage into halftime.

Stone Memorial stretched out their edge in the third quarter as they scored 18 again and held Warren County to six total points in the quarter.

Tessa Miller, of Stone Memorial, led both teams in scoring with 17 points. Miller was one of nine Lady Panthers to score Friday night.  Katie Adkisson scored 12 points and Emma Capps scored 11.

The Lady Pioneers also had nine players score as they were led by Beth Vaughn who scored 16 points.

Stone Memorial improves to 18-1, 2-0 with the win and Warren County falls to 2-17, 0-2 on the season.

Warren County plays again Tuesday on the road at Rhea County and Stone Memorial host the Lady Cavaliers from Cookeville.
