Edmondson Lone Soccer Player Selected For Progressive MVP

Ana Edmondson not only represented the York girls soccer team on the first team all region team but she is also the lone soccer player selected for the Progressive Most Valuable Player for the fall sports season at York Institute.

Edmondson, a left footer, scored five goals in a game against Jackson County that York went on to win 8-2.

“Ana is a very talented player,” Head coach Allison Stucker said. “She has been to a ton of soccer camps. She knows how to utilize the left side of the field.”

York won their district championship against Smith County 4-2 and they won their first game in the region tournament against East Robertson 4-0. The Lady Dragons soccer season ended at Sub State with a loss to Signal Mountain.
