Early Offensive Struggles Lead To Loss For Lady Cats
The Livingston Academy Lady Cats struggled in the first half on offense, and it dug them too deep of a hole to climb out of in a 62-42 loss to top-ranked Macon County.
The Lady Cats simply couldn’t get the ball in the hoop in the opening two frames, and they found themselves down 30-15 at halftime.
They found more success in the second half with 27 points, but it was too late as Macon County earned a 62-42 victory.
Aleah Melton led the team with 19 points.
Livingston will be back in action on Jan. 14 when they take on Watertown.
