Eagles Win Big In First Victory Of The Season
Austin Hodges and Jacob Guy each scored over 20 points in Van Buren County’s 74 to 52 victory over district opponent Richard Hardy.
With the win Van Buren County improves to 1-7 on the season and 1-0 in their district.
Van Buren jumped out to an early 20 to 9 first quarter lead and never looked back.
Hodges scored a team high 22 and Guy added 21.
Jason Stevens contributed 18 points for the Eagles.
Van Buren County will next play in Pensacola, Florida in the Innisfree Hotels Pensacola Beach Basketball Classic from December 27 through December 30th.
