Dragons To Take On 2A Mr. Basketball Lawson, Wooddale At State

The York Institute Dragons have a tough first test at the State Tournament, as they will face Wooddale on Mar.18 at 6 P.M.

Wooddale officially boasts one of the top players in the state in Jonathan Lawson, who was named the Class 2A Mr. Basketball winner on Tuesday. He alone will prove to be a challenge to guard for the Dragons, who will no doubt focus a health portion of their defensive gameplan on him.

Wooddale is 26-6 overall this season, and they produced a perfect 14-0 record in District play.
