Dragons Basketball Starts Fast, Defeats Oneida At Home
The York Insitute Dragons got off to a quick start on offense in the first half, and it led to a 69-49 win over Oneida.
York scored 20 points in each of the first two quarters, and it enabled them to build a quick lead heading into halftime.
The offense tailed off a bit in the second, as they only managed 29 points, but the lead was insurmountable and York won by a final score of 69-49.
Noah Smith led the way for the Dragons, as he scored a game-high 23 points. Riley Cooper added 16 of his own, and Roger Meadows rounded out the high-scoring trio with 14 points.
The Dragons will host Smith County on Friday in their next game.
