Dragonettes Fall At Top-Ranked Macon Co
The York Institute Dragonettes trailed to take on Macon County on Tuesday, falling by a final score of 63-45.
York fell behind 21-8 in the first quarter, and trailed 36-18 at half.
They weren’t able to make up much ground in the third, though they did battle in the fourth to cut the final deficit to 18 points.
Haylee Johnson led York with 11 points, while Sage Smith, Mikaela Reagan and Ellie Leffew each scored eight points.
The Dragonettes’ next contest will come on Friday, when they take on Livingston Academy.
