Dragonettes Down Watertown Behind Johnson’s 19

The York Institute Dragonettes defeated Watertown on Tuesday by a final score of 50-32.

The Dragonettes dominated on defense, as they held Watertown to single-digit point totals in each of the first three quarters. This added up to 37-20 lead heading into the fourth.

By the time the buzzer sounded to end the fourth quarter, York walked away with a 50-32 win.

Haylee Johnson led all scorers with 19 points, while Sage Smith added 14 of her own.

York will take the court next on Friday when they play DeKalb County.
