Dragonettes Dominate Single-A Power Oneida

The York Institute Dragonettes dominated Oneida on Thursday by a final score of 69-33.

The third quarter proved to be the biggest difference-maker, as York scored 28 points to stretch the lead.

Though they only scored seven points in the final frame, the Dragonettes built up a big-enough advantage to ward off any offense from Oneida to earn the win.

Haylee Johnson led the way on offense, as she scored 17 points. Gabby Beaty added 15 points on the strength of four three-pointers, while Millie Hull scored 10 points of her own.

York’s next contest will be on Friday when they take on Smith County
