York Offense Struggles Early In Loss To Lady Panthers

The York Institute Dragonettes couldn’t find their offense and fell behind early in their loss to Stone Memorial on Monday.

The Lady Panthers out-scored York 18-10 in the first quarter, and followed it up with a 25-18 advantage in the second. This led to a 43-28 lead at halftime.

While they improved in the second half, it wasn’t enough for the Dragonettes to make the comeback, and Stone Memorial took the win by a final score of 69-50.

Emma Capps had the game-high in points with 20, while Katie Adkisson scored 15 points. Tessa Miller was the other double-digit scorer with 13 points.
