Clarkrange’s girls basketball team dominated Red Boiling Springs, in the semifinal game of the Region Three, Single A tournament, 63 to 39 Monday night in Livingston.
The Lady Buffaloes cranked up the pressure early defensively as they only allowed 13 first half points. Offensively, Clarkrange was able to get open looks throughout the on their way to a thirty point first half.
Clarkrange extended their lead with a 19 to 9 third quarter, before reserves from each team closed out the last half of the fourth quarter.
The Lady Buffaloes drained seven shots from behind the three point line. Clrakrange also hit eight of their 12 free throw attempts on the night as well.
Kassie Monday scored a game high 23 points and her twin sister Kaylie added in 17 points of her own.
Clarkrange will now face Pickett County in the Region Three, 1A championship game on Wednesday night in Livingston at 7 P.M.
Wednesday nights game will mark the fourth time these two teams have played this season. Clarkrange has won the previous three matchups.
