Dominant First-Quarter Sets Tone For White Co Against Lady Pioneers
The White County Warriorettes wasted little time getting their offense going on Tuesday, as they defeated Warren County by a final score of 83-29.
The first quarter was all White County, as they out-scored Warren by a 27-4 margin to seize control of the game. The momentum continued into the second quarter, and the Warriorettes took a 48-13 lead into halftime.
The hot shooting didn’t cool off in the second half, and when the final buzzer sounded, White County earned a trip to the Region Tournament with a 83-29 win over Warren County.
Gracie Dodgen led the way with 20 points, while Nia Powers added a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double off the bench. Kendreah Reeves added 11 points and nine assists.
White County advances in the District Tournament and will face Stone Memorial on Thursday.
