Dodgen’s Shot Forces Overtime, White Co Defeats Stone Memorial

The White County Warriorettes defeated the Stone Memorial Lady Panthers by a final score of 77-72 in overtime on Thursday.

The win pushes the Warriorettes to the District Tournament Championship, where they will play Rhea County on Monday at 7:30.

Down by three with mere seconds remaining, White County’s Gracie Dodgen knocked down a shot-of-the-year contender when she pulled up from beyond the arc and banked in a three to send the game to overtime.
