Defense Plays Huge Roll In Lady Blue Devils Second Win

The Jackson County girls basketball team beat Trousdale County 56 to 36 Friday night in Gainesboro to earn their second win of the season.

The Lady Blue Devils locked up Trousdale County in the first half. Trousdale County could only muster two first quarter points in the first quarter and only eight in the second quarter.

Jackson County racked up 18 first quarter point and 11 points in the second quarter.

Nine Lady Blue Devils scored at least two points against Trousdale County. Abigail Poston scored a game high 14 points and Nikki Ragland added eight points of her own.

Jacklyn Agee and Emma Crockett each scored seven points each for Jackson County.

The win improves the Lady Blue Devils record to 2-15, 1-6. Jackson County will play again this Tuesday against Gordonsville on the road.
