Cripps Leads First Team In The Circle, At The Plate

DeKalb County Senior Ellie Cripps put up some big numbers in the team’s two games last week.

First against Livingston Academy, she pitched a complete-game and only gave up three unearned runs. She did some damage at the plate as well, as she went 2-4 with three runs driven in against the Lady Cats.

Cripps added to the dominant week when she shut out Central Magnet over six innings, only giving up four hits and striking out three. She added a double and an RBI at the plate in the 11-0 win.

This week, she leads the First Bank First Team.
