Cookeville Golf Ends Remarkable Season With Impressive State Results

Cookeville High School was well represented at the TSSAA Class AA State Golf Tournament in Sevierville, earlier this week. Lady Cavs junior, Daniella Pryor shot a 17-over-157 to end in a four-way tie for eighth place on the ladies’ side of the draw, while the Cookeville boys team shot a 603 (+27) to capture fifth place in the final tally. Senior Luke Caldwell shot a 5-under-139 to place third in boys’ individuals, while junior Joseph Agee fired a 3-under-141 to take fifth place. The girls’ and boys’ teams were a collective 70-3 in individual match play, entering the State Tournament.
