Cookeville Girls Lacrosse State Runner-Up

Losing to Ravenwood is nothing to hang your head about. Neither is being the state-runner up in your respective sport.

A 19-3 loss however, leaves a bit of a bad taste in your mouth.

Head Coach Resa Roberts for Cookeville girls lacrosse made that clear. It stings.

However, with time to reflect, she also understood what it meant for her team to do what they did.

What it means for lacrosse in the UC, for girls Lacrosse outside major ares like Nashville and Knoxville, and what it means for the sport as a whole at the eventual TSSAA level.

She was also very outspoken about the work her team put in, and the work they plan to put in this off season.
