Clayton Bounces Back In Cavalier Golf Victory

Senior Seth Clayton shot his best round of the young season on Tuesday with his 70 in Cookeville Golf’s win over Upperman and Coffee County.
Luke Caldwell followed close behind with a 71, while Joseph Agee shot a 75. Caleb Scott rounded out the team with an 85.
Jud Reese shot a 91, but it didn’t count as the highest score.
As a whole, the team shot a 301 to take down Upperman (338) and Coffee County (390) in the process.
On the girls side, Lucy Carwile shot a 78 to lead the field, and Daniella Pryor followed right behind in second with a 79. Lexus Julian shot an 85 and finished third individually, but her score was thrown out as the team’s highest score.
Overall, they finished with a total score of 157 to also defeat Upperman (207) and Coffee County (216).
