Clay Co.’s Levi Garrett Ready for Rival Playoff Matchup

Levi Garrett is a senior at Clay County High School. As a senior Bulldogs’ football player, Garrett has played against the Gordonsville Tigers five times in the last four seasons. In Clay County’s last regular season game of 2022, the Bulldogs beat Gordonsville for the first time in Garrett’s high school career.

Now in the 2022 TSSAA Football Playoff Semifinals, the Bulldogs will face the Tigers yet again – this time to make is six times in the last four years. Looking ahead to the game, we spoke with Garrett about what the win versus Gordonsville meant to him and his outlook on the upcoming rematch. Levi also looks back on his high school career and talks about what this year’s Region Championship means to him.
