Clay Co.’s Levi Garrett on Playing in State Championship

Earlier this month, the Clay County Bulldogs made it to the first state championship game in school history. After six straight playoff seasons, the Bulldogs dominated for four weeks of playoff football to earn a spot in the 1A State Championship game. Although Clay County would lose to McKenzie, the appearance in the game along with the commanding regular season fuels the fire for the future, according to one Clay County Bulldog.

Levi Garrett is a senior for the Bulldog football team. Having made the playoffs each year of his high school career, to play for a state title has been his goal from the start. Hear from Garrett about what this season means to the Celina community and the future of the Bulldogs. Levi also tells us what the season means to him, and how it feels to be a part of it.
