Cavaliers Fall To Siegel Basketball

The Cookeville Cavaliers’ defense had its share of struggles on Saturday, as they fell to Siegel by a final score of 85-63.

Down only eight at half, the Cavalier defense couldn’t get the necessary stops in the second half to make a comeback.

They were out-scored by the Stars 25-17 in the third quarter, and 24-14 in the fourth. All of this added up to a 85-63 loss for Cookeville.

Junior Stockton Owen led the team in scoring, as he poured in 16 points for Cookeville. Zack Hall and Lucas Reeves each added 10 of their own.
