Cavalier Golf Wins Golf Capital Classic Behind Agee’s 76

The Cookeville Cavalier Golf Team took home first place in the Golf Capital Classic at Lake Tansi on Tuesday, thanks to stellar performances from their top three golfers.

Joseph Agee led the way and finished fourth overall with a 76, while Luke Caldwell shot a 78. Senior Seth Clayton finished close behind with a 79.

Jakob Smith rounded out the team’s score with an 81, while Caleb Scott shot an 86 that was dropped.

As a whole, the team shot a 314 combined score to take home first place.

Cookeville’s next golf match will feature the girls team at Druid Hills on Thursday.
