Joseph Agee and Jakob Smith each shot a 74 in their round on Monday, but it wasn’t enough to lead Cookeville over White County.
Senior Seth Clayton shot an 84, and Caleb Scott was close behind with an 85. Brant Kardatske shot an 88, but since it was the lowest score, it was thrown out.
As a team, the Cavaliers shot a 316, which just trailed White County’s 294. Cookeville did finish ahead of Warren County, as the Pioneers finished with a 365 as a team.
All three members of the Lady Cavs performed well in their first official match as well, as Hope Homar led the way with a 77. Lexus Julian followed closely behind with a 78, while Daniella Pryor’s 80 was thrown out as the highest score in the group.
