Burchett, Arms Combine For 40, Lady Bulldogs Defeat Trousdale Co

The Clay County Lady Bulldogs defeated Trousdale County by a final score of 56-51 on Tuesday.

Things got started fast for Clay, as they out-scored Trousdale 19-9 in the first quarter.

Trousdale won each of the final three quarters by a 42-37 margin, but it wasn’t enough to take down the Lady Bulldogs as they walked away with a win.

Katie Arms produced a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Briley Burchett scored 20 points on an efficient 8/11 shooting.

The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action on Friday when they play at Monterey.
