Bulldogs Season Ends In Loss To South Pittsburg Football

The Clay County Bulldogs saw their season come to an end on Friday, as they lost to South Pittsburg by a final score of 57-13.

Senior Quarterback Jake Ashlock finished his final game for the Bulldogs on 8-13 passing for 62 yards and an interception.

Alec Kerr led the team with three receptions for 33 yards, and Will Ogletree added two catches for 14 yards.

On the ground, Clay County recorded 130 yards on 25 carries, and this included their two scores in the game. Kerr once again led the team in this department, as he recorded five carries for 43 yards and a touchdown.

Joseph Marcom added 40 yards and the other touchdown on three carries.

South Pittsburg will advance to take on Gordonsville.
