Bulldogs Hold On Late For Win Over East Robertson

The Clay County Bulldogs needed a late defensive stand on Saturday night, as they defeated East Robertson by a final score of 61-60.

Both teams fought back and forth, and the score was 47-46 in favor of East Robertson heading into the fourth quarter.

Clay used a 15-13 advantage in the fourth quarter to take home a thrilling 61-60 victory.

Grant Strong led all scorers with 25 points, while Jake Ashlock recored 17 points and six rebounds.

Mason Sharp added nine points, and Alec Kerr scored 10.

Clay’s next game will be on Dec. 27 in the Lake Cumberland Holiday Tournament.
