Bulldogs Beat Bledsoe Co In First Round Of York Invitational

Grant Strong led Clay County with 21 points in a 63 to 39 victory over Bledsoe County in the first round of the Sergeant York Invitational, Thursday afternoon in Jamestown.

Strong connected on three of his four free throw attempts and he also hit two threes during the contest for the Bulldogs.

Jake Ashlock added 17 points for Clay County and Mason Sharp contributed 10 points of his own.

Clay County will play the Northview Academy cougars Friday night at 5 P.M. in the semi final game.
