Good news for two Upper Cumberland Boys Basketball teams, as the Upperman Bees and Clay County Bulldogs each moved up a spot in the AP Top Rankings for their respective classes.
The Bees moved up to the second overall spot, now trailing only Jackson South Side. This comes on the heels of an eight-game winning streak, as Upperman has also won nine of its last 10 games.
They will take on Macon County in Baxter on Tuesday night.
The Clay County Bulldogs are also up to second overall for the Class A poll, and the only team ahead of them is Madison Academic. The Bulldogs currently sit at 13-2 overall and 7-0 in district play.
They will also put a winning streak on the line on Tuesday, as Clay County hosts Trousdale County with their sights set on a seventh consecutive win.
