Blue Devils Fall In Second Half To Trousdale Co

Jackson County’s boys basketball team saw a first half lead slip away, in the third and fourth quarter,s as their season ended with 49 to 47 loss to Trousdale County, Tuesday night in Livingston.

The Blue Devils jumped out to a 14 to eight first quarter lead and Jackson County owned a 25 to 23 halftime lead. The Blue Devils outscored Trousdale by one point in the third before things fell apart in the fourth quarter.

Trousdale County scored 17 points in the fourth quarter to Jackson County’s 12 to earn a two point victory.

Eli Burris tie for the game high in points with 14 for Jackson County. Chris Pigg added 10 points for the Blue Devils as well.

Jackson County finished the season at 10-16, and 4-10 in district play.
