The Blue Devils boys Basketball team lost a closely contested game to Gordonsville 57 to 54, on the road Tuesday night.
Jackson County trailed by two at the end of the first quarter but trailed 27 to 26 at halftime. Gordonsville pushed their lead to three throughout the third quarter. Both team scored 17 in the forth as Gordonsville pulled out the victory.
Eli Burris scored a game high 15 points for the Blue Devils. 13 of this 15 points came in the second half. Jacob Hardy added 12 points and Jordan Arroyo and Ramon Luvas each scored seven points each.
Jackson County’s record falls to 8-11, and 2-6 in district play. The Blue Devils play again this Friday night at Clarkrange.
