Blue Devils Complete Sweep As They Take Down Trousdale

The Jackson County Blue Devils boys basketball team battled back in the fourth quarter to take down Trousdale County 60 to 59 Friday night in Gainesboro.

The Blues Devils owned a 25 to 19 halftime lead but gave up 25 third quarter point to Trousdale County as they trailed at the start of the fourth quarter 44 to 42. It would take an 18 point fourth quarter for Jackson county to complete the comeback and get the win.

Jackson County’s Eli Burris scored nine of their 18 fourth quarter points on his way to a game high 19 point outing. Jacob Hardy added 12 points and Ramon Luvas contributed 10 points.

Jackson County inches closer to .500 on the season as the win improves theor overall record to 8-10, 2-5.

The Blue Devils play again this Tuesday on the road at Gordonsville.
