Bilbrey and Lady Bobcats Handle Red Boiling Springs

Abbi Bilbrey’s game high 24 points helped Pickett County down Red Boiling Springs by a final score of 65 to 50, Friday night in Byrdstown.

The Lady Bobcats controlled the game by halftime as they held a 34 to 18 lead. Red Boiling Spring did outscore Pickett County in the second half by one point.

The Lady Bobcats live at the free throw line as they connected on 17 of their 23 attempts. Red Boilings Springs hit five, threes throughout the game where Pickett County hit four.

Chloe Burton scored 12 points for Pickett County and she hit two of the four made three pointers. Shyla Wood added nine points for the Lady Bobcats.

The Lady Bobcats travel to Celina, Tuesday night to take on Clay County. The win improves Pickett County’s record to 22-2 and 1-2 in district play.
