Bees Climb One Spot In AP Top 10 Over Bye Week
The Upperman Bee football team moved from seventh to sixth this week in the Associated Presses Top 10 poll.
The Bees enjoyed a bye week last week and were able to get some young players valuable reps during a junior varsity game and practices per Upperman head football coach Adam Caine.
The moved up in rankings happened because Gatlinburg-Pittman, previously ranked third, lost their first game of the season and dropped to eighth.
Alcoa, Pearl-Cohn, Red Bank, Loudon, and Covington are the teams one through six in this weeks 3A rankings.
Upperman is back in action this week against Grundy County at 7 P.M. in Baxter.
