Bees Bowling Advances To Sectionals
The Upperman Bees boys bowling team needed two victories, first over Creekwood and second over Lebanon, to claim the region championship and advance to sectionals. That is exactly what they did.
Upperman took down Creekwood, in the semi-finals, by a final score of 21 to 6 in their first matchup.
They advanced to take on Lebanon in the finals, a match in which they won 21.5 to 5.5.
Upperman dominated the first match as they took almost every single point. The lone point they did not take was because of a tie between Upperman’s Shawn Cooper and Creekwood’s Ryan Norvil who each bowled a 223.
Upperman won the second match 6 to 2 and they tied the third match 3 to 3.
The Bees host the sectional round Monday afternoon at Bowling world in Cookeville.
