Bees Basketball Surges To Win Over Riverdale

The Upperman Bees opened their season with a dominant win over Riverdale by a final score of 73-37.

10 Bees cracked the scoring column, and they were led by Collin Gore’s 17 points. He also added three rebounds and an assist in the effort.

Isaiah Allen was the other Bee in double figures, as he added 11 points and four assists of his own in the win.

Defense was the calling-card for the Bees on Thursday, and no play punctuated that more than Andre Bell’s chase-down block on a layup attempt by Riverdale to end the game.

The Bees will head to Forest on Saturday for their next matchup at 12:45.
