Bees Baseball Run-Rules Red Boiling Springs
The Upperman Bees Baseball team put together a dominant outing on Wednesday with a 16-1 win over Red Boiling Springs.
Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, the Bees wasted little time in taking control of the game and scored eight runs to take an 8-1 lead into the second inning.
They added three runs in the third, and five more in the fourth to push the lead to its final margin of 16-1.
Elliot Lee and Tyler Jared each drove in two runs on two hits for the Bees, while Eric Farley, Brady LeFever, Eli Huddleston and Carter Shanks each drove in a run apiece.
On the mound, Drew Davidson tossed a complete game of five innings pitched with six strikeouts and he only gave up a single run on one hit.
The Bees will be back in action on Friday when they take on Stone Memorial at 5:30 P.M.
