Back And Forth Game Goes Lady Cavs Way

All 11 of the Lady Cavaliers who entered the game against McMin County scored at least one point Friday night in their, 46 to 44 win against McMinn County on the road.

The Lady Cavaliers trailed by one point at halftime, as they saw a six-point first quarter lead disappear. However, Cookeville limited McMinn County to only two, third quarter points to jump back in front by seven. The Lady Cavs were outscored by five in the fourth quarter but held on for the win.

Cookeville played this game without sophomore sensation KK Graves. Katie Dunaway led the Lady Cavs in points with 13 and Liv Shipman added 11 points of her own.

The win brings Cookeville’s record to 17-6, 2-2. Cookeville will play again this Tuesday night in Sparta against White County.
